The Illinois Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Research Collaborative serves to enhance quality of life for individuals living with MS through scientific discovery and increase community engagement and dissemination of research findings. It also fosters mentorship and training for graduate students, post-doctoral scholars, and junior faculty.
Goals of the collaborative include, but are not limited to:
- Increased competitiveness for research funding
- Shared/centralized recruitment efforts
- Research participant registry
- Minimum testing battery
- Public dissemination and outreach
