Advancing Equity: Accessibility and Neurodiversity Training for Non-Profits

Project Description
Non-profit community organizations who are affiliated with Illinois Extension (including SNAP-Education and 4H) have requested development of trainings and resources about accessibility and neurodiversity for their staff. Dr. Tarconish is seeking students to help research these topics and assist with creating the trainings and analyzing how participants respond to them.

Role of the Community-Academic Scholar
The undergraduate researcher will:

• Assist with conducting literature reviews to inform the trainings
• Assist with creating and delivering trainings about accessibility and neurodiversity
• Collect feedback from participants who receive the training
