Research Support
We provide critical infrastructure for health-related research.
Health researchers can be found in nearly every college across the Illinois campus. IHSI provides the expertise, tools, and support necessary for engaging in clinical and translational research, from proposal development to HIPAA-secure data collection.
Biostatistics, Epidemiology, & Research Design (BERD)
The BERD team offers expert biostatistical consulting and analysis services in support of health-related research. Biostatisticians work with internal (Illinois) and external (non-Illinois) researchers on basic science, social and behavioral research, and translational research studies and clinical trials.
Clinical Partnerships
The Clinical Partnerships team strengthens collaborative efforts between the university and multiple clinical partners. These collaborations, including those with Mayo Clinic & Illinois Alliance and Carle, create opportunities for education, research, and translation.
