About Illinois REDCap

Illinois REDCap is among the systems and services that meet requirements established by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). REDCap offers a variety of security measures that make it an ideal system for collecting Protected Health Information (PHI) and other high risk or sensitive data, as well as non-high risk data.

Illinois investigators receive administrative and infrastructure support from the IHSI REDCap team and Research IT:

Illinois REDCap is administered by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute (IHSI) and powered by Research IT via the Office of the Chief Information Officer, with education and training support from the University Library.
