In 2022, the university’s promotion and tenure guidelines broadened to recognize and support community and public engagement contributions in research, teaching, and service. IHSI offers a variety of resources and programming for researchers across campus interested in, or already pursuing, community-engaged scholarship.
Community-Engaged Research Series
Hosted by the Center for Social and Behavioral Science, College of Education, and Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, the Community-Engaged Research Series (CERS) aims to build and enhance the experience of community-engaged researchers at Illinois, and provide these researchers with the skills and resources needed to impact research in this space.
Networking Lunch
Connect with faculty and staff across campus involved in community-engaged research! The Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, College of Education, and Center for Social & Behavioral Science, are pleased to invite community-engaged researchers to a networking lunch on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Siebel Center for Design.
