Grant Seeking Programs
Preparation for submitting strong grant proposals
IHSI grant seeking programs help health sciences researchers identify research opportunities and respond to local and national funding priorities. Each program is led by a team of research development professionals and covers the unique requirements and considerations for each source of health research funding.
In addition to its long-standing NIH series, IHSI now offers additional opportunities for health researchers.
NIH Grant Writing Series
A six-session seminar series to prepare early-career faculty (years 2+) at Illinois to submit a strong proposal to the National Institutes of Health.
DoD Grant Seeking Workshop
A three-session workshop series to guide health sciences researchers on developing a strong Department of Defense grant proposal.
Peer Accountability Writing Groups
These groups help participants strengthen their proposals with support from faculty peers and Research Development team members.
